Behind the build

Royal Canin engaged Altitude Design Office to transform their North Sioux City campus into a fully branded, one-of-a-kind production environment. We worked closely with ADO throughout the process to refine concepts for fabrication and translate the design intent into physical reality.

The project’s centerpiece is a quarter-mile Experience Corridor overlooking the production floor—a sequence of interpretive exhibits and displays that walk visitors through the full arc of Royal Canin’s manufacturing process. White oak and the signature Royal Canin red ground the technical and industrial space in warmth. The paw-print mural at the end of the hall is made from 966 cans of Royal Canin’s own food. Each can is mounted to a CNC-routed panel and carefully painted to make the seamless logo.

Craftsmanship at its finest

The Timeline Corridor presented a different kind of challenge. The existing walls were textured and slightly corrugated—not a workable surface for the clean vinyl graphics the design called for. Rather than compromise the look, Xibitz engineered a solution: full-height aluminum composite panels. The result reads as effortless—which is exactly the point.

The completed environment sets a new standard for manufacturing spaces—a place where craftsmanship and design transform industry into a key part of the brand story.
