2024 in Review
2024 in Review: A Remarkable Year of Exhibit Fabrication
In 2024, we had the privilege of working on over 100 projects and installing more than 50 experiences, working alongside many incredible design and fabrication partners. We are so grateful for the trust placed in us by our clients and partners, for the hard work and dedication of our team, and for the exciting challenges we got to take on.
These are some highlights from the year:
1. Burr Gymnasium
We brought school spirit to life at Howard University with a monumental, 30-foot tall Bison head. Impressive on its own, it literally breathes smoke, creating an unforgettable experience for students and visitors alike!
Design: Zebradog
2. Second Story & Beyond
The Second Story & Beyond children’s library features a novel glass climbing wall, made out of the same material used for glass bridges!
This project required a massive amount of coordination and creativity, as almost every exhibit experience can be changed out by library staff to fit new themes.
Design: CambridgeSeven
3. Union on 24th
The Union on 24th apartments are a bold and modern upgrade to the student living experience. The new development features custom metal and woodwork, graphic and branded elements, and state-of-the-art fitness and recreation centers.
Design: Perkins&Will
We are also fortunate to have contributed to several award-winning projects this year. Our design partners astound us every day, and we whole-heartedly applaud these well-deserved accolades — not just for the high quality of work, but for the effort and care that went into every element. We are honored to work with such talented and incredible people.
Electrosonic’s outstanding work for the Mark and Paula Hurd Welcome Center at Baylor University earned it the ‘Education Project of the Year’ at the prestigious Digital Signage Experience Awards 2024.
Perkins&Will worked meticulously on this interior office space, earning a Finalist Spot in Interior Design Magazine’s Best of Year Awards for the Large Corporate Office category. This project also received internal recognition for exceptional attention to detail.
Populous artfully merged legacy with modern design in the redevelopment of the Royal Hall of Industries, providing a new home for the Sydney Swans HQ. They were awarded an Australian Institute of Architects’ 2024 NSW Architecture Award for their efforts.
From college athletics to corporate lobbies to museum exhibits, this year has taken us all across the country to work on unique and exciting projects. Our work wouldn’t be possible without the creativity and expertise of our partners, or the vision and trust of our clients.
We look forward to continuing our partnerships and creating more innovative experiences in the year ahead.
Here’s to 2025!
